ASP.NET Analyst / ASP.NET Web Developer

Information Systems require an ASP.NET Analyst / ASP.NET Web Developer to get involved in cutting edge projects involving ASP.NET 2.0. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in developing our products and services to the next level.

To succeed in this role you must have previous ASP.NET web development experience, from within a team development environment, and the following:

  • experience with at least one relational DBMS
  • HTML/CSS/JavaScript development experience
  • experience supporting and maintaining web applications
  • skills in Ajax and VSTS

Additionally, as the ASP.NET Analyst /ASP.NET Developer you will need good communication and interpersonal skills as this role will involve client facing and analysis work.

Skills in any of the following would be benefical to your application:

  • SQL Reporting Services
  • XML/XSD
  • Sharepoint
  • Java
  • OO Analysis and design

Team Leader / Project Manager

Information Systems are seeking experienced Team Leaders or Project Managers to run teams of about 5 people in projects valued at several hundred thousand pounds.

The selected candidate will have come from a technical background and have been involved in design, specification, programming and testing of software in a formal setting. In addition, there are significant client-facing responsibilities involving managing both the profitability and the quality of the project. The Role involves co-ordinating on all aspects of running projects including managing team members.

The candidate:

  • Must have strong Business Sense combining practicality with a commitment to quality.
  • Ability to plan realistically in a pressured environment
  • Must have a minimum of 6 years commercial experience preferably working in a structured environment and have good experience of a development methodology
  • Should have some track record of managing the completion several large projects through to live running.
  • Should have skills in data modelling
  • Needs to be able to capture requirements, generalise them and record them for use by others.

The following non-technical skills are required

  • Able to inspire a team as well as enable them and keep them focussed
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Flexible attitude
  • Very Good communication skills
  • Able to report to senior management in an efficient and focussed manner
