NOP new sampling technologyInformation Systems worked closely with NOP Automotive during the development of a major new sampling system. This collaboration achieved an effective skills transfer that allowed in-house staff to pick up the on-going maintenance and future enhancements of the system following a successful launch. NOP Automotive is one of the largest and most experienced automotive research agencies in the world. They required a workflow system to enable them to manage every stage of their international postal surveys. The surveys involve massive volumes of different types of data and a key requirement was to allow users easily to set up new surveys, each with their own custom data requirements, without the need for costly programming resources. This was achieved through the use of a highly modular front end written in a combination of Visual Basic and Microsoft Access communicating with a Microsoft SQL Server database. NOP Automotive is part of the NOP Research Group, owned by United News and Media. |
