Important Information: Structured deposits offer you the potential to earn higher returns than you would with a regular savings account. Your returns are based on the performance of an index or commodity. If the investment does not perform well you may receive no income or capital growth, but you can be confident that your capital will be repaid. You have no access to your deposit during the term of the account, typically 3 to 6 years but your original capital will be repaid in full at the end of the term. In the event that the deposit taker is unable to repay your initial investment and any returns stated you may be entitled to compensation from the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) depending on your individual circumstances.

Halifax Cash ISAs

Halifax Cash ISAs come in a variety of shapes and sizes to help you make the most of your tax-efficient ISA allowance. If you're willing to lock your money away to get the most out of it, they offer fixed rates with different terms, or if you think you might need your money to hand, choose an instant access cash ISA, where you can start saving with just £1.

Under the 2014/15 cash ISA allowance you can put £5,940 into a cash ISA. You can also transfer to a Halifax cash ISA if you already have an ISA but you don't think you're getting the best rate.

Halifax cash ISAs are much like savings accounts, except you do not have to pay tax on the interest you earn. Whether you're looking to lock money away in return for a fixed rate of interest, or you want your money to be readily accessible, there is a range of Halifax cash ISAs available.

Halifax instant access ISAs

Halifax instant access ISAs let you take your money out when you need to, without penalty, while still offering attractive returns on your tax-efficient savings. You can transfer in from other ISAs, and manage your account by phone, post, online, or in branch. If you're looking for an account that doesn't require you to lock your money away for a fixed period, then a Halifax instant access ISAs might be right for you.

Halifax fixed rate ISAs

Halifax fixed rate ISAs allow you to get a fixed return on your savings, without paying any income tax on the interest. These accounts offer savers a choice of fixed terms, from one to five years, so you can choose how long to lock your money away for. You can transfer in money from other cash ISAs if you don't think you're getting the best rate with your current provider.
